I am happy to report that the photographer of the marvellous photo showing parts of Malta and Sicily on the horizon (The Sunday Times, November 19) was none other than the renowned René Rossignaud.

"Colours of Malta", an exhibition of his photos, was held at the Auberge d'Italie, Valletta.

Among an array of several poster-sized photos was this photo. All the shots were wonderful, especially the lightning ones, which, justifiably, earned him the title "the storm chaser".

I urge all local councils who have the space to hold an exhibition. All Maltese and tourists should be able to appreciate Mr Rossignaud's artistry.

Thank you, Mr George Vella, for sharing that other beautiful photo (November 26).
