Go Mobile will be launching 3G services this spring and will also offer a range of new and exciting services to complement this new technology. This was announced by Maltacom Group CEO David Kay and Go Mobile director Peter Gauci during a lunch for the press on Friday.
"Preparations are in full swing to ensure that the necessary infrastructure is up and running by the planned launch date. At this point in time, Go Mobile is already offering unique and advanced services, such as TV on Your Mobile and fast Internet access thanks to the introduction of EDGE technology into its network," Mr Kay said.
This is the time of year when Go Mobile offers subscribers a range of special seasonal offers and this year is no exception, starting off with a range of quality TV on Your Mobile handsets. TV on Your Mobile, which now offers six live streaming channels, can be accessed by Go Mobile subscribers nationwide. Mr Gauci expanded on the seasonal offerings after thanking the press for their continuous support throughout the year.
"One of our most attractive offers this Christmas involves the Three TV on Your Mobile handsets," Mr Gauci said. "The Nokia 6680 and the Nokia 6151 are both 3G compatible and will certainly appeal to many. The third model, the Nokia 6111, comes in silver, black and pink - it will definitely be the must-have handset with all the ladies."
These handsets are all being offered at very attractive prices, starting as low as Lm105, which will remain available until the end of January 2007. Those who purchase one of these special offer TV on Your Mobile handsets will also receive 900 free live TV streaming minutes (distributed 300 minutes each month for three months) as well as Lm10 free talk time and 100 free MMS.
In addition, all new pre-paid subscribers who connect to Go Mobile and top up with a minimum of Lm5, will receive 250 free SMSes. This comes with a 30-day time-window and is valid for all local mobile numbers.
"Post-paid subscribers have equal cause for celebration this year. Go Mobile's Keep on Talking offer allows post-paid subscribers to talk for an hour and pay for a minute from Monday to Friday between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. and Saturday and Sunday all day. This offer will run for three months between December and February and applies only between Go Mobile numbers," Mr Gauci continued.
Finally, Go Mobile is also giving you the chance to avoid the hassle of gift hunting this year with Lm10 gift vouchers which can be purchased from all Go Mobile customer contact centres. These gift vouchers can be exchanged for Go Mobile phones, top-up cards and accessories.
