TVM may be the national station, priding itself in being Malta's favourite TV station with the biggest audience preferring to watch their news.

Yet, we still hear blunders in the national language when people who should know better are interviewed during the news.

Only this week I was deeply offended and utterly disgusted to hear the executive head of Sedqa uttering words like nibbenjaw, jibbingjaw and jippartijaw (presumably translating the words banning, binging and partying). The same evening I heard the famous Lou Bondì saying tadvertajzjaw.
