Obituary
MALLIA. On November 28, JACKIE, née Mizzi, age 42, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her devoted husband Paul, her beloved daughter Francesca, her treasured mother Rita, her brother Alan and his wife Jane, her sisters Tisha and her husband Mark, Nicola and her husband Peter, her mother-in-law Mary, her in-laws Noel and his wife Lottie, Rosanne, Marisa and her husband George, Josette and her husband Etienne, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Jackie thanks Tessa, John, Francesca and Julian, and Anthony, for all their support over the years. The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 8.15 a.m. for St Gregory's parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.45 a.m., followed by interment in the family burial place at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord grant her eternal rest.

He leaves to mourn his inseparable loss his wife Mary, his daughters Stephanie and her husband Alberto Romeo, Natalia and her husband James Cutajar and Denise, his son Anthony , other relatives and friends. - R.I.P. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Olga, his children Alexander and his wife Johanna, MaryAnne and her husband Nicky Vella, his grandchildren Matthew, Gabriella and Stephanie, his brother Paul and his wife Elizabeth, in-laws, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P. SCHEMBRI. On November 28, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, MAE, née Micallef of Sliema, aged 71, passed peacefully away after a long illness borne with Christian fortitude. She leaves to cherish her memories and mourn her irreparable loss her beloved husband Emanuel (Lolly), her children Jennifer, wife of Mario Ellul, Moira, wife of John Cassar, Gordon and his wife Mimi, Ruth, wife of James O'Flaherty, Anthony and his wife Dorianne and Audrey, her 15 grandchildren Rebecca, wife of Brian Laudi, Petra, wife of Aaron Zammit, Yani, Kyle, Luke, Mark, Kerstin, Scott, Tasha, Darren, Kane, Davina, Emma, Laura and Kira, her five great-grandchildren Jade, Kaia, Nathan, Thea and Martha, her brother Paul and his wife Margaret of Australia, her sisters Grace and her husband Vince Cortis, Lina and her husband Ronnie Banavage of Canada, Vivian and her husband John Spiteri, Josephine and her husband Manuel Dimech, Emanuel Galea, widower of her sister Margaret, her nephews, nieces, in-laws, other relatives and many friends. The funeral leaves St James Capua Hospital tomorrow at 8.15 a.m. for the Carmelite parish church, Balluta, St Julians, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment in the family chapel at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Marie, his children Martin and his wife Louise, Raymond (councillor of St Paul's Bay), Marica and her husband Laurence Hili, Tania and her husband Stephen Ebejer, Romina and her husband Dunstan Sammut, his grandchildren Charlene, Clint, Amanda, Roderich, Daniel, Gianluca, Matteo, Aidan and their fiancés, his brothers and sisters, his mother-in-law, in-laws, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence today at 1.15 p.m. for Our Lady of Sorrows parish church, St Paul's Bay, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m. followed by interment in the family burial place at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Grand Mass Concert
APS Bank will sponsor the Grand Mass of the 19th century concert to be held at St John's Co-Cathedral, in Valletta, tomorrow at 7.30 p.m.
The concert, which will be under the musical direction of Rev. John Galea, will feature Messa Grande for 'soli', chorus and orchestra by Giuseppe Spiteri Fremond. APS Bank has also decided to organise another four-year cycle of annual concerts.

Fair At Valletta School
A number of activities are being organised by the St Albert the Great College's Parent Teachers Association in order to raise funds for the refurbishment of the gym and other educational facilities.
The first activity, a fair, will be held at the College in Old Bakery Street, Valletta between tomorrow and Sunday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. and between 3 an 6 p.m. A variety of household items, educational toys and games, Christmas decorations, books, plants and clothes among others will be on sale. The college will also be exhibiting a collection of photographs, based on a diversity theme, entitled 1000 Families.
Christmas Bazaar In Victoria
A Christmas bazaar in aid of the Gozo SPCA will be held at Café Jubilee in It-Tokk, Victoria tomorrow from 9 a.m.
Items for sale include a range of Gozo SPCA Christmas cards, calendars, gifts, household items, glass, chinaware, jewellery and books.
Sliema Parking
Due to trenching works being carried out along The Ferries, in Sliema, from the corner with Manwel Dimech Street and Tower Road in the carriageway heading towards Tower Road, on-street parking will not be permitted as from today.
Access to vehicular traffic will not be impeded.
Recollection Evening
Opus Dei will hold an evening of recollection for men at Lapsi church in Lapsi Street, St Julians tomorrow, at 7 p.m.
A priest will be available for confessions.
Christmas Sale
The Sacro Cuor parish committee will be holding a Christmas bonanza sale at Padova Hall, Il-Knisja Street, Sliema between tomorrow and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Items such as Christmas decorations and plants will be on sale.
