Fifty officials recently took part in an in-service training course organised by the Ministry for Rural Affairs and the Environment at the Institute of Agriculture at the University of Malta.

The course was about European issues, EU structures and legislation and the roles of key structures in the government set-up.

The course aimed at giving participants a better understanding of the official templates used when compiling position papers in reaction to EU legislative proposals.
