Restaurant reviewers win prizes

Prizes were awarded to a number of reviewers of The Definitive(ly) Good Guide To Restaurants 2006 survey after having returned their surveys with ratings as well as informative and relevant comments.The prizes presented included two nights accommodation in a twin deluxe room on a bed and breakfast basis for two persons at the Hilton Malta, a Fortina Spa Resort Platinum Card membership for one year including two complimentary nights in a five star room and a Marsovin hamper consisting of a selection of locally grown, limited edition wines.

The seventh edition of the guide incorporating results of the 2006 restaurant survey will be published at the beginning of December and the results will be available at www.restaurantsmalta.com together with details of the top rated 140 restaurants out of over 1,000 restaurants on the Maltese Islands.

A Restaurant Award Ceremony Gala Dinner will be held at the Radisson SAS Golden Sands Resort & Spa on December 11 where the top-rated restaurants will be presented with awards by Francis Zammit Dimech, Minister for Tourism. Other awards to be presented include the Top Rated Maltese Food Restaurant, Best Value For Money Restaurant, Best Business Entertainment Restaurant, Most Romantic Restaurant, Best Restaurant Restroom, Best Children Friendly Restaurant, Best Restaurant Wine and the Best Vegetarian Dishes.
