Card users could win back double their outlay

Bank of Valletta cardholders who use their BOV card to pay for their shopping throughout this festive season will automatically be eligible to win back double the amount they spend.

All BOV cards - Cashlink, Visa and MasterCard - are part of this promotion, which will run until January 31.

To be eligible, a minimum of five purchase transactions using a BOV card must be effected by the cardholder during the promotion period following which he or she will automatically be allocated a stake in the lottery for every transaction made.

Merchants are also being given the opportunity to participate in this year's promotion. BOV's merchant customers can win an Air Malta Flyaway Tour for two persons.

The first draw will be held on December 15 for transactions effected between the November 26 and December 13. The first draw will consist of 10 transactions for cardholders and two merchants' names.

The second draw will be held on February 9 for transactions effected between December 14 and January 31. The second draw will consist of a minimum of 10 transactions for cardholders until the total prize fund of Lm5,000 is exhausted, and three merchant names. The maximum amount that can be won by a cardholder is Lm250.
