Touring Club Malta officials recently held talks with former Formula One driver Clay Regazzoni who was on a stop-over visit to the islands on his way to North Africa for a rally in Tunis.

Various topics of interest were discussed among which the possibility that Regazzoni and the international rallying organisation make their visit slightly longer the next time they stop here before the Tunis Rally.

The Touring Club, assisted by Meli Car Rentals, are planning to hold an exhibition rally in 2007 where classic cars, owned by Maltese collectors, will be displayed along those of the Tunis Rally.
