Workbook on the world through children's eyes

A new workbook on 191 ways children see the world is being given to young schoolchildren visiting the exhibition 191 Children's Views Of The World at the Caraffa Stores, Cottonera Waterfront.

Designed and created by students attending the Art Programme within the Department of Arts and Languages in Education, University of Malta, the workbook introduces the idea of finding things out and producing one's own artwork.

The workbook has a series of lessons, based on the children's paintings, prepared by University students following the second, third and fourth years of study.

The BEd (Hons) art students involved were Kristina Borg, Darren Tanti, Lucienne Lughermo, George James Cutajar, William Hayman, Charlene Agius, Isabel Cutajar, Laura Cachia, Maria Micallef, Louise Mallia, Emanuel Bonnici, Clive Gerada, Massabielle Zammit, Alexia Mercieca, Katia Borg Sant, Fiorella Zammit, Carmen Sultana, Adrian Scicluna, Ian Coleiro, Victoria Vella and Rachel Theuma.

The exhibition is open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the weekends until December 17. Entrance is free.
