Christmas Supplement

The Sunday Times next week will include a Christmas Supplement, which will feature an original painting by Salvatore Montanucci on its front cover.

Mr Montanucci, a Sicilian artist resident in Malta, has donated the painting, which measures 49 by 30 cm, to be sold to the highest bidder in a silent auction in aid of Caritas Malta.

All those interested are being invited to submit their bids, together with their name, address, and telephone number, in a sealed envelope and deliver them to a Caritas representative, who will be accompanying Mr Montanucci at St James Cavalier Centre for Creativity, Valletta (where the painting will be on display), on Sunday, December 3, and Monday, December 4, from 5 to 8 p.m. The winning bidder will be informed on Tuesday, December 5.

With the kind co-operation of the management of St James Cavalier, Mr Montanucci will also be autographing copies of the front page of the Christmas Supplement for a donation of Lm1, which he is donating to Caritas Malta. Receipts will be issued for each donation.
