A three-year Comenius project under Socrates, entitled Our Seas, which deals with the dynamic relationship between humans and the sea, has just been launched at Ninu Cremona Lyceum Complex, in Victoria. The project places the relationship in a historical perspective and studies its cultural and economic dimensions as well as its role in communication among people.

Teachers from Sicily, Holland, Italy and Gozo met for their first meeting and discussed the activities and amendment of the project during the scholastic year 2006/07.

The teachers had the opportunity to visit various places of interest in Gozo and Malta.

The next meeting is due to be held at Flevoland, Holland in the last week of May 2007.
