The sudden interruption of the helicopter service between Malta and Gozo should have prompted the authorities to engage one of the AFM helicopters, naturally adapted for the service, as an emergency measure until the alternative is decided.

Any crew involved should be remunerated besides their normal army pay. Any emergency necessitating the interruption of the temporary schedule should, of course, take priority!
