277,400 licensed vehicles
The stock of motor vehicles in the third quarter of this year rose by 1,600 to stand at 277,400, the National Statistics Office said.
Of these, 75.9 per cent were private vehicles while commercial vehicles made up 16.3 per cent.
The number of new licences issued during the quarter amounted to 3,430, 75 per cent of them being for private vehicles.
