Obituary
BORG. On November 22, at St Luke's Hospital, ELISABETH (Lisa), aged 63, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her most beloved twin sister Carmen, cousins, relatives and her many friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital tomorrow at 7.30 a.m. for St Julians parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.15 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be appreciated.
GALEA. On November 21, JOSEPH (ex-Headmaster, Fellenberg), aged 63, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his beloved wife Josette née Farrugia, his loving son Robert, his brothers Michael and Theresin, Paul and Carmen, his sister Grace, widow of Adam Bartolo, his in-laws Professor Charles Farrugia and Doris, Marlene and Charles Azzopardi, Salvino and Tanya Farrugia, Joan, widow of Michel Peyre, his nephews and nieces, other relatives and many friends.

No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be greatly appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Lord grant him eternal rest.

Talk On Maltese
A public talk on The Making Of The Maltese Language will be organised by Wirt Ghawdex at the hall of the Ministry for Gozo, San Frangisk Square, Victoria, tomorrow at 6.30 p.m.
The lecture will be delivered by Joe Zammit-Ciantar, lecturer of Maltese at the University of Malta Junior College. He will be giving a short history of Maltese as well as giving a general idea of the political, historical and linguistic background.
The talk will be given in English and is open to members of Wirt Ghawdex and the public as well as to students who are preparing to sit for their Intermediate and Advanced levels with the University of Malta.

Talk On The Mind
A public talk delivered by Kris Attard entitled Discover The Magic Of Your Mind will take place at Shamrock House in Dingli Street, Sliema on November 30 at 7.30 p.m.
The talk will deal with developing the intuitive and creative faculties of the mind in order to expand potential and open new possibilities in life. It will also serve as an introduction to Mindscape, an experiential weekend workshop which is due to be held on December 2 and 3. Cereal Promotion
Those who buy any two cereal packs from the Kellogg's All-Bran range will receive a free 2007 diary from the customer care desks or cash points in supermarkets.
The diary is available in four colours and includes 12 monthly recipes for meals that incorporate the All-Bran range.

University Route Bus
A new bus route service bearing number 162 is to operate from the University to Gzira, Savoy, Dingli Street, Balluta, St Julians and Paceville at 5.15 p.m. daily.
This service is being temporarily run for a period of three months which may be extended depending on demand.
To accommodate patrons, bus route number 667 from St Andrews will leave at 7.25 a.m.
Christmas Bazaar
The International Wives Association will hold its Christmas Bazaar on Wednesday at Dar L-Emigrant, Valletta from 9.30 a.m.
Flute And Guitar Recital
French flautist Philippe Bernold will join forces with guitarist Simon Schembri for a recital at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta, on Monday at 8 p.m.
Their recital will consist of works by Mauro Giuliani - Grande Sonate, Franz Schubert - Sonate Arpeggione and Astor Piazzolla - Two Tangos and Histoire Du Tango.
This is not the first time that Bernold and Schembri have performed as a duo in Malta.
Mr Bernold performs as soloist as well as chamber musician with internationally renowned artists.
Mr Schembri is based in France and tours regularly.

Christmas Bazaar
A Christmas bazaar in aid of the Christ the King parish church, in Paola, will be held by its fund raising committee at the parish hall from December 2 to 10.
The bazaar will be open from 9 a.m. to noon and from 4 to 8 p.m. daily.
Various items including books, toys, carpets, household goods, plants, Christmas lights and decorations will be on sale.
Everybody is invited to attend.
Power Cuts
The electricity supply will be suspended in Sliema today, between 8 a.m. and noon, in parts of Gafar, Camenzuli, San Karlu, Sant Anglu and L-Arkata streets and in Mosta, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., in Il-Wied, Frangisk Mangion, Il-Leggenda, Sir Arthur Burton, Nikol Muscat, Filippo Apap Bologna, Il-Ballut, Iz-Znuber and L-Gharghar streets and in parts of Il-Kostituzzjoni and L-Inkurunazzjoni streets.
Eucharistic Celebration
A eucharistic celebration will be held by the diocesan committee of Our Lady of Fatima at the Home for the Clergy, Anglu Grima Street, Fleur-de-Lys, Birkirkara on December 2 at 4 p.m.
Holy rosary will be recited after Mass in the presence of the Holy Eucharist exposed on the altar.

A white coloured Opel Astra with licence number CAC 798 was reported missing from Naxxar on Tuesday.
