Marriages

Mr AARON SALIBA, B.Sc. (Hons), SRP (UK), Dip. Ger. and Miss THELMA CUSCHIERI, M.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons), SRP (UK) The marriage took place on Saturday, November 18 at St Aloysius College, Birkirkara, between AARON, son of Mr and Mrs Saviour Saliba, and THELMA, daughter of Professor and Mrs Alfred Cuschieri. Nuptial Mass was concelebrated by Fr Joe Saliba, O.Carm. and Mgr Professor Vincent Borg, DD, HED. Arch.Ch.L. The ceremony was witnessed by Mrs Astrid Zammit, B.Educ. (Hons) and Mr Reuben Grech. Mr Isaac Saliba carried out the duties of best man, while Dr Marius Grima, MD, was usher. The bride was attended by Sharon Young, M.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons). A reception was later held at the Hilton Portomaso Suite.

Obituary

DINGLI. On November 15, in Sydney, Australia, KATHLEEN, née Owens, aged 96, formerly of Msida, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved children Monica and her husband Ariel Fiorini, Agnes and her husband Lewis Simiana of Australia, Cecilia and her husband John Xuereb in Malta, Alice and her husband Professor Stephen Gatt also of Australia, her grandchildren, Raphael, Michael, Mark, Andrew, Daniela, Ian, Andrea, Cristina and Emma, her sister-in-law Kitty Dingli, nephews, nieces in Malta and Australia. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

GALEA. On November 17, at Boffa Hospital, ANNA, née Camilleri, aged 60, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her dear husband Joe, her siblings in Toronto, Canada, her brother Anthony, his wife Geri and their daughter Adrienne, her brother Noel, his wife Paulette and their children Jennifer and Jason, her sister Joan and her children Jeffrey, Lauren and Christopher, his wife Andrea and their daughter Madison and many other relatives and friends. - R.I.P. Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated on November 21 at 2.15 p.m. at Jesus of Nazareth parish church, Sliema. Donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, are kindly requested in lieu of flowers.

GIORGIO. On November 17, at her daughter's residence in Surrey, UK, JOLANDA née Bonnici, widow of Carmel, went to meet the Risen Lord comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her beloved children Marcelle and her husband Brian Copus, her son Dunstan and his wife Mary Rose, her grandchildren Clive, Christopher and Veronica, Sarah, Gabi and their respective husbands, her great-grandchildren Julian, Nicky and Benjamin, her nephews and nieces, her sister-in-law Evelyn, besides other relatives and numerous friends in Malta. The funeral followed by interment will take place in Epson, Surrey, UK on November 28. A memorial service in Malta will be announced at a later date. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

SCICLUNA. On November 18, at St Luke's Hospital, Vincent, of Cospicua, aged 85, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Carmen, his children Joe and Phyllis, their respective families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital tomorrow at 8 a.m. for the Immaculate Conception parish church, Cospicua, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

Requiem Masses

A Mass for the repose of the soul of ERIC ZAMMIT, B.Pharm. will be said today at 5.30 p.m. at Our Saviour parish church, Lija, on the third anniversary of his demise.

On the fifth anniversary of the death of VICTORIA ZAMMIT, the 7 and 7.30 a.m. Masses said tomorrow at Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Balluta, St Julian's, will be offered for the repose of her soul.
