The F.H.R.D. is holding its fifth HR Awards ceremony on Thursday, November 30, at the Reef Club Pavilion, Westin Dragonara Resort.

This year the FHRD offered five awards, namely: Best HR Award, Best Training and Development, Best People's Initiative (for companies employing up to 50 people), Excellence in People Management (Malta) and Excellence in Training and Development.

Eight companies from different industries, namely IT, manufacturing, hospitality and services participated in the awards. In all there were 11 submissions as some companies applied for more than one award.

Two judging committees were set up for the awards, one for HR and one for training and development. The judging committee members visited all these companies to further understand certain aspects highlighted in the submissions.
