The European Consumer Centre in Malta, which falls under the responsibility of the Consumer and Competition Division, is organising a one-day conference on "Consumer Confidence in the Tourism Industry" on Tuesday, November 28, at the Corinthia Palace Hotel, Attard.

The conference will be addressed by Censu Galea, Minister for Competitiveness and Communications; Dr Francis Zammit Dimech, Minister of Tourism and Culture; as well as other speakers from the Malta Tourism Authority, the Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association, the Consumer and Competition Division, the Consumer Affairs Council, and the EU Commission representative from DG SANCO, the Directorate-General for Health and Consumer Affairs, Dott. Giuseppe Abbamonte, who will speak on timeshare.
