Book fair draws the crowds

It was another busy day yesterday at the 22nd edition of the Malta Book Fair, being held at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, in Valletta.

Among the visitors were numerous schoolchildren.

Today's events include the National Book Prize ceremony in the evening. The opening hours of the fair are from 9 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and 5 to 10 p.m. today, from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 4 to 10 p.m. tomorrow and from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 3 to 9 p.m. on Sunday.

A bus shuttle service, number 98, is being run from the Valletta terminus at a nominal fare and entrance is free of charge. Visitors are being given a ticket with the chance of winning one of the books donated by the exhibitors.
