A Clean Up The World event will be organised by the Gaia Foundation in cooperation with the Ministry for Rural Affairs and the Environment at the protected areas in Ghajn Tuffieha in Malta and Ramla Bay, Gozo on December 1 and 2.

The campaign aims at raising awareness against illegal dumping and littering as well as promoting waste separation and recycling.

Those interested in taking part in the cleaning up process are to meet at the car park at Riviera Martinique, Ghajn Tuffieha on December 1 at 10 a.m. There will be an ecological tour at noon, which will then be followed by refreshments at the Gaia Foundation's Visitor Centre.

Those wanting to participate in the Ramla Bay clean up are asked to be at the Beach Bars at Ramla Bay on December 2 at 10 a.m. Following the clean up of the area combined with some ecological work, there will be an ecological tour.

Everyone is invited to attend.
