Table Tennis for charity

The 10th edition of the Malta Table Tennis Marathon will raise funds for the Richmond Foundation which plans to refurbish Villa Chelsea, in Birkirkara.

Organised by the Catholic Action Youth (ZAK), the 75-hour marathon will be held between 6 p.m. on December 7 and 9 p.m. on December 10, at De La Salle College, in Cottonera.

The event will kick off at 5 p.m. with Mass, followed by entertainment.

Richmond Foundation was founded in 1993 as an NGO. Villa Chelsea is essential for it to continue helping people with mental health problems by providing rehabilitation facilities for reintegration in the community.

Applications for players and helpers are now available from the marathon's official website www.zak-zabbar.org/maratona and must be sent to ZAK Zabbar by November 19.
