A 'fusion' of oil palette paintings and watercolours

Marc England is exhibiting water colours of Malta scenes as a guest artist of John Borg Manduca, who is displaying a number of his oil palette paintings.

The joint exhibition is being held at Arte Gallery in St Augustine Square, Victoria.

Mr England's watercolours provide a foretaste of a large solo exhibition Mr England intends to hold next year.

Mr England is a composer who studied at Berklee College of Music, Boston, and is a graduate in film animation from the Arte Design Tecnica in Milan. He furthered his musical education with Ennio Morricone in Siena.

He has held exhibitions at the Fine Arts Museum and was the recipient of the first prize at the St John Bosco international competition in 1988. He is also the author of a book of cartoons entitled Camelogue and his work has been featured in various publications.
