Substitute flyhalf Federico Todeschini scored 22 points as Argentina conquered Twickenham with a 25-18 victory over England yesterday. Tries by Paul Sackey and Iain Balshaw, to one by Todeschini, were not enough for England to prevent their seventh successive defeat, their worst run for more than 30 years, and their first home defeat by the Pumas.
Todeschini, who slotted three penalties in the first half, took his tally to 16 with the conversion then added two more penalties.
