Last week was the second time I had to accompany someone to the Casualty Department of St Luke's Hospital in the space of less than a month.

The time spent waiting to be seen at Casualty is normally quite long, so it is inevitable that at some point or other one has to use the toilets there.

I do not think that the building of a new hospital can justify leaving the toilets at St Luke's Casualty department in such a state, especially since one expects that hygiene standards in a hospital should be the highest possible.
