All airlines experience delays from time to time. I was stranded in Malta a number of years ago at the old terminal at Luqa for 10 hours with my family waiting for an Air Malta flight to take us back to the UK. We were given nothing and the only place to rest was on the floor of the terminal building. We were all very upset at the time but it did not stop us coming back to your lovely island.
Why pick on BritishJet all the time? Mr Borg is doing his best to bring tourists to your country at prices we British can afford, and your own people to the UK.
Your national airline Air Malta should have seen to the future: that cheap flights were the only answer to your tourist problems. Now they have a little competition with BritishJet and Ryanair.
I hope this will see off all these silly remarks in The Sunday Times and get on to the real job of promoting your country to the rest of the world through the Internet. You need tourists fast or you are going to lose out.
My wife and I have been regular visitors to your country for 32 years and have made 63 visits in that time and we look forward to the next visit. We have seen a lot of changes in that time.
Publish some of the good things about Malta and leave out the silly things like a broken wheel on a suitcase.
