The fourth Malta Laser Class Association (MLCA) regatta, this year sponsored by D'Agata Marine and Harken, will be held at Mellieha Bay on November 25-26. Launching and the race office will be at the Ghadira Lido.

The MLCA is hoping to emulate the success of last year when races were held at St Paul's Bay. On that occasion, as many as 50 dinghies took part.

Besides the Laser Standard, Laser Radial and Laser 4.7 Classes, participation is also open to Optimist dinghies which the MLCA recognises as the foundation class for Laser sailors of the future.

The regatta will be the penultimate Laser and Optimist ranking event of the year with the last one being the Euromed International Championship, also at Mellieha Bay, next month.
