Access to Tal-Fjuri

I refer to the letter Lack Of Planning Along St Paul's Bay Bypass (November 2). Further to the correspondent's letter, the authority is pleased to notify that access for Tal-Fjuri residents to their residences from the Xemxija side is being arranged.

Further to the correspondent's letter, the authority is pleased to notify that access for Tal-Fjuri residents to their residences from the Xemxija side is being arranged. The necessary supporting infrastructure, i.e. directional signage etc. has already been erected.

The initial decision not to allow access for Tal-Fjuri residents from Xemxija was taken from a road engineering and safety point of view, in the interest of all concerned. Any inconvenience is regretted, particularly to the residents in the area.
