The new website VacancyCentre.com, operated by CSB, has been relaunched following an extensive redesign and upgrade. The Website, designed with both the job seeker and employer in mind, is more user friendly, more interactive and is a straightforward and efficient service to the visitor.
It allows users to open an account with VacancyCentre.com, enabling candidates to submit, view and edit all their CV details (including qualifications and employment history) online and in real time!
Using a unique username and secure password, job seekers are then able to apply for jobs and access their account regularly in their own time, leisure and comfort! This way job seekers need not reapply or submit their details each time they are interested in a particular vacancy featured on the Website.
Furthermore, all data sent and received via the site are encrypted since the Website uses a security protocol.
The Website also features the company's widely used Job Bank, and all the information about jobs and career opportunities available, together with the latest news and recruitment tips, career advice, articles, a list of training providers and other services, such as Jobm@il, SMS Jobs and the VacancyCentre.com enewsletter.
Employers can also feature their vacancies online. Recruitment news and events, the Weekly Hot Job and also featured articles are also accessible via the front page.
"VacancyCentre.com attracts thousands of unique visitors, and we are very proud of this achievement," said Jonathan M. Dalli, business development executive at CSB Recruitment Agency.
"We are confident that the new Website, which is the fourth version of VacancyCentre.com, will prove to be even more popular as, besides including useful information that is kept updated on a daily basis, it is designed in a way that is easier to navigate. Furthermore, the new features, thanks to the latest technology we are using, give us more time to spend on the actual recruitment services, i.e. the search and selection process on behalf of our clients," Mr Dalli said.
Kenneth Bone, managing director of Seasus New Media, Web developers of VacancyCentre.com, said their main focus was to simplify and speed up the matching process between job seekers and employers.
The new online tools for job seekers provided an easy way to keep them informed about available opportunities, posting an interest in a position and keeping track of the various account activities.
"We have also given particular attention to data privacy and security, ensuring that job seeker information is well protected from unauthorised access. The Website is also backed by a custom-built Integrated Business Management System which has automated many areas of the job placement process and reduced the turn-around time from the publishing of a vacancy to an actual job placement," Mr Bone said.
Regarding the usage of the Website, Mr Bone added that they have seen a constant increase in the number of visitors to Vacancycentre.com since the launch of the first version in 1999, and the response to the new Website was beyond expectations, with thousands of newly registered job seekers in the first few weeks.
