Photographs which René Rossignaud shot over the past decade will be exhibited at the Auberge D'Italie, Merchants Street, Valletta as from today. Some of the 46 prints capture one of Mr Rossignaud's passions: storms.

The 25-year-old photographer believes that being born on a stormy December night has conditioned him to capture the wonders of nature and have seen him out on many rainy days in search of the perfect picture. The photos have earned him the moniker The Storm Chaser.

The photographer prides himself in not resorting to "trick photography" to bring out special effects in his pictures.

The exhibition runs until November 24.
