I had originally named the article At The End Of The Maltese Festa Season: Comments And Suggestions. It appears that the title was shortened to read: In Praise Of The Village Patron Saint (October 30). I know that adherents of secondary feasts (festi sekondarji) may feel the phrase "patron saint" pronounces class distinction and causes further division in the celebration of the village festa.

My contribution was meant to bring back the religious aspects of the Maltese festa and I had certainly no intention to create tension, adding salt to the wound!
