Psoriasis - call for volunteers

Over 8,000 families in Malta have an immediate interest in learning more about Psoriasis. Psoriasis is not contagious, but awareness of this skin condition is!

Over the past two years The Psoriasis Association of Malta has embarked on an ambitious programme to try and reach as many sufferers as possible. We've held various seminars, which were well attended and received. More ambitiously, we've launched a web-site www.pam.org.mt, which has been a great hit. This is a useful tool to reach as many sufferers as possible, who might not have the time or confidence to personally attend the association's various functions.

However, none of our ambitions can be achieved with the current limited human resources. We are desperate for more committed hands on board. We need new blood and young minds to help us achieve what we have set out to do.

Is there anybody out there who is willing to volunteer a few hours a month to join us on the various projects we have planned? Would you let your experience of learning to live with psoriasis turn into something positive? Could you be a helping-hand to the many out there who have not yet come to grips with their condition? We all have something to offer: a listening ear, positive communication skills, writing skills, computer skills, design skills, organisational skills and much more.

We are desperate for volunteers to get in touch at their earliest and let us know what they are willing to commit. The association needs you, but more so, the lone sufferers out there could benefit greatly from your commitment.
