Helicopter service (3)

Rather than using the loss of the helicopter service to push for an extension of the runway for fixed-wing aircraft, this is an opportunity to put in an elevated light rail service (like Vancouver's skytrain) from the airport to Valletta then along to Victoria with stations along the way including on Comino.

In off-hours such a skytrain system could transport freight providing reliable transportation to Comino even in winter. Such a skytrain would enable Gozitans to commute to Malta for work and enable tourists easy access ultimately to all of Malta including Gozo.
