As from this year, students sitting for the SEC mathematics examination will be able to make use of a new book consisting of model answers of past examination papers. Work Through SEC Mathematics Papers 2002-2003 provides useful assistance for success in this examination by providing information about the examination, advice on examination technique, fully worked questions from past SEC mathematics examination papers, and notes to improve the student's understanding of mathematics.
Working through the past examination papers gives students ample opportunity to revise the syllabus and improve their understanding of the subject. It is recommended that to benefit from this publication candidates first attempt the question and then consult the answers given in the book.
The book is by Joseph Mamo and William Pace, both mathematics co-ordinators with the Education Division, who have extensive experience in teaching mathematics at different levels of the educational spectrum.
It is published by Merlin Library and is on sale from leading bookshops at Lm1.50.
