Police seize 20 packets of heroin
Three men from Zejtun, aged between 26 and 32, have been arrested after 20 packets of heroin and a quantity of cannabis resin were found in a room at St Thomas Bay, limits of Zejtun, yesterday morning, the police said. The arrests followed police surveillance after a tip-off that drugs were being sold in the room.
Magistrate Lawrence Quintano appointed experts to help in the inquiry.
The men are expected to be arraigned in the coming days, the police said.
