The outer walls of the Paola local council offices in Sir Paul Boffa Gardens were vandalised on Tuesday night when green paint was thrown all over them.

Condemning the act, the council said this was the third attack in three months after the offices were smeared with spent oil and black paint. The vandalism was also condemned by the Local Councils Association which said that the sole aim of the perpetrators of these cowardly acts was to hinder and harm persons who are elected democratically to work for their locality.
