A 20-year-old man has been charged with breaking into two cars and a garage between May and September last year.

Michael Mifsud, of Zabbar, pleaded not guilty to stealing hi-fi equipment when he broke into Gilbert Camilleri's and Kurt Galea's cars and to stealing several objects, including diving equipment, from Alan Schiavone's garage.

Police Inspector Michael Mallia prosecuted.
