The Department of Arabic and Near Eastern Studies and the Foundation for International Studies are organising a short course on "The Bible and Archaeology" which is structured over five sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from February 6 to 20, 2007, at the Foundation for International Studies, Old University Building, St Paul Street, Valletta, between 5.30 and 8.30 p.m. The course is intended for all those who wish to obtain information about the vexed question of the relationship between the results of biblical and archaeological research in the Near East.

The tutor is Professor Anthony Frendo.
