The power of thought

The creation of life and of each and every one of us is the result of a thought. Indeed a dream and an imagination (image) that became a living tangible creature carved in God's hands. We are an image (result of an imagination) of God's likeness. People who are comatose with brain cells not functioning, still can feel what is going around them because their spiritual mind is not dead. According to God's word there is a distinct difference between the brain and the mind.

God tells us to renew our mind, which is part of our spirit, but He never tells us to renew our brains, which is a tangible muscle (Romans 12:1-2, Ephesians 4:23). The power of the mind is a great tool to make our dreams come true.

If a person believes and goes on thinking that he is sick, he will indeed make himself sick. His mind will end up sending signals to his body that he is and so therefore he becomes what he thinks. Proverbs 23:7, "For as a man thinks within himself, so is he".

But if a person has a firm and solid persuasion beyond any doubt that God wants him healed and healthy, he will in the process (...thought process) make himself come in line with the will of God through the power of the Holy Spirit, to be healthy.

After all, doesn't the Bible tell us in many instances, like Matthew 8:15-17, "...And when evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed; and He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were ill in order that what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, saying, 'He Himself took our infirmities, and carried away our diseases'."

Then once a person becomes aware of God's will for him, he will become open for his healing to occur. We are indeed what we think and it is easy to tell what a person is thinking from what he says.

Faith works through our firm and solid persuasion (which is the actual meaning of the much misunderstood word 'faith') that God has given us authority to claim our healing in Jesus' name. Our heart and spiritual mind must be in harmony to bring about this miracle.

We, as supernatural beings, are partakers in God's creation (2 Peter 1:3-4) and God is providing us with the means to receive our own healing and whatever positive, faith-filled action that we perform in our lives.

Forgiveness and healing are indeed manifestations of the faith we have in God that He has opened the door through his Son, Jesus Christ.

This language defeats the Devil as He has no power to destroy what Christ has paid for us all. Why this is so, is because the Devil does not understand the language of Faith, since it is the fruit of the Holy Spirit and it is the realm of God and where He operates. (Ref: Galatians 5:16-22, 2 Corinthians 4:13)

So if through faith we can make mountains move, let our hearts, minds and spirits be full of a strong and unwavering faith and our dreams and thoughts will come true, and that all the more, we who claim allegiance to Christ Jesus. Hebrews 12:1-2, "Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance, and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God".
