On a positive note
Lately we are having a lot of co-operation from suppliers/ traders and we must thank them accordingly. Moreover this week, in a co-operative spirit as far as suppliers and traders are concerned, rather than pending cases we will focus on positively concluded cases and some more information about the Lm/euro issue and an encouraging comment on the 2007 Budget.
I had recently purchased a bikini from BHS Sliema. However, after wearing it a number of times, I noticed that its material was slowly fraying. Therefore, I went back to BHS to complain and I was immediately given my money back in the form of a voucher by the manager himself.
Two weeks after this incident I went to BHS in Birkirkara to use my voucher only to find that I had misplaced it. I told the salesgirl, and without any hesitation she phoned BHS Sliema to try and track the voucher I had misplaced.
Since I knew the date and time I was given the voucher, they tracked it down immediately via their computer system and I was given my money back in the form of another voucher.
I would like to sincerely thank BHS. If only every trader/supplier/shop in Malta could give such a wonderful service, we certainly would have no trouble whatsoever with regard to shopping.
Please keep up the good work as you are giving a valuable service to all through your column in The Sunday Times. Thank you. (Marthese Ciappara)
While thanking and complimenting BHS Sliema on having made such a positive impact on Ms Ciappara I must also thank her for her comments in my regard.
