I would like to draw the attention of the authorities to the lack of privacy that exists at the polling booths in the general and local elections.

Why is it only in Malta that we do not use a curtain, to enable electors to vote in a truly private manner?

That is the way it should be. At present, the commissioners can determine on which part of the ballot paper you are voting.

This is restricting our freedom. Even Third World countries are better than us in this respect.

I have written before on this issue. I hope that this time someone takes note.
