The perched beach in Bugibba has cost Lm456,516, Tourism Minister Francis Zammit Dimech told Labour MP Charles Buhagiar in reply to a parliamentary question.

The minister said that Lm118,000 were spent for the procurement and spreading of sand, Lm196,000 for marine and civil engineering and road works, Lm24,000 on finishing, Lm32,1000 on electrical, mechanical, plumbing and lighting, Lm6,000 on landscaping, and Lm11,000 on metal railings, the life guard post and the timber boardwalk.
