Could the Malta Environment and Planning Authority please urgently investigate what's going on at the far end of Tamar Street, Qawra (at the junction with Triq it-Trill/Triq it-Turisti) where excavation work is proceeding on the area separating the two indicated plots in the Il-Huli site? As far as is known, PA05810/04 is covered by a permit while PA04591/00 is not. Excavation should have stopped long ago.

Also, why is excavation waste from PA05810/00 being deposited on the site of PA04591/00 - the whole area has become an eyesore because of the abuse. Can those responsible be made to clear up? Some people should be ashamed about what's going on. Please appreciate this is a tourist as well as a residential area.

On August 24, a report was lodged with the Enforcement Section about this abuse. Then the abuse stopped for a number of weeks but it has now resumed. Surely this matter has to be dealt with efficiently.
