On a positive note

The following letter was sent to Vitafoam, San Gwann, and copied to me:

I would like to thank you for your prompt service at Vitafoam, San Gwann.

After a few months in use, my new orthopaedic mattress developed some faults. So I called at the factory in San Gwann and lodged my complaint with the girls at the desk. They were very understanding and I was told that it would be picked up and checked.

On the following day they called me and informed me that it would be picked up in the afternoon. After another day they called again to tell me that it was going to be delivered.

Unfortunately, after a few weeks, it did not look and feel good, so I called them again. After a couple of days they called me and told me that they were going to replace it with a new one. Since then I am sleeping much better!

I would like to thank you again for your sterling service. I congratulate you and your staff, especially the girls at the desk. They were so helpful, understanding and cordial. I must not forget the delivery boys who were so helpful and patient. They also had a sense of humour. Keep it up! (Helen Sammut)

I add my compliments to Vitafoam in San Gwann on having made such a positive impact on Ms Sammut. On a "one good turn deserves another" basis I must add a quick personal positive note.

I am a regular Tal-Lira customer. Last Thursday, I popped in at the L-Iklin outlet and picked up an item in a rush. I placed it on the counter and the assistant (Amanda) pointed out that the item in question is sold at three for Lm1, whereupon I picked up another two. Thank you, Amanda!
