I read in The Times the story entitled The Relic Of Blessed Gerald taken to Warsaw (October 12).

First of all, I guess that the Blessed's name is not Gerald but Gerard. I have always met that name in all books about the Order of St John.

As far as I know, it is not the first time that the holy relic of Blessed Gerard, founder of the Order of St John, was donated. When Mgr Fra. Cajetan Pace Forno OSA was Archbishop of Rhodes and Bishop of Malta he donated a holy relic of Blessed Gerard ex ossibus to the church of St John in London which was going to be consecrated.

I believe further information can be obtained from the Archbishop's Curia, from the Chancellery.
