When in 1950 North Korea invaded its southern neighbour it was only the timely intervention by the United Nations led by the US that avoided a complete takeover of South Korea. Eventually the UN troops pushed North and just when they nearly completed liberating North Korea, the Chinese crossed their border and drove the UN troops down to the 12th parallel.
That is how the situation is at present. A divided country with the North trying to blackmail the South and other Asian countries because of its nuclear weapons. I wonder who helped this fifth rate country to obtain such technology.
China has become one of the most industrialised countries in the world exporting an incredible amount of all kind of goods. This is causing thousands of factories in Europe and America to shut down. The prosperity of her more than a billion citizens depend on this trade.
So cannot China, as a gesture of goodwill, intervene to stop this gangsterism of North Korea? It was so prompt to intervene in 1950 against the rest of the world! Surely now they can subdue their restless neighbour and earn the gratitude of the rest of the world.
