New road surfaces

How is it that in the list of roads to be laid with a new surface between now and 2008, published in The Times, no mention is made of Tower Road, Sliema?

A stretch of this road from opposite the Hotel Preluna to the corner of Tigné Street with Bisazza Street is in a bad state of repair.

Incidentally, this road is used by thousands of vehicles daily.

Is there perhaps a plan to rename it (instead of resurfacing it) The Forgotten Road?
