It would be just and fair to provide paid facilitators for disabled children attending summer school organised by Church schools.

Working parents of non severely disabled children do not have centres or places where they can leave their children during the summer holidays from June to September. Attending summer schools would be one of the best solutions for all year round inclusion and utilising available time for the individuals' and fellow students' further development.

At present, parents whose disabled children attend Church schools during the summer have to make arrangements for facilitators to care for their children at their expense leading to excessive hardships and lack of equal opportunity, burdens that are not borne by parents of non disabled children.

All Church school students who have a facilitator during normal school ought to be entitled to the provision of a qualified facilitator during summer schools organised at the same schools as well. This would not entail additional expense for the government since if the student wishes to attend the Skolasajf government summer school he/she would be provided with the necessary paid facilitator.

Parents of disabled children should have the choice to continue to work and send their children to those schools of their choice during summer as well.

Full inclusion ought to be all the year round and provision of paid facilitators for Church summer schools ought to be an item that ought to be sorted out in the forthcoming government budget.
