St. Edward's College will hold a sports festival to celebrate St Edward's Day on Friday with the participation of its members of staff and present pupils as well as a good number of old boys.

Old Edwardian Day in fact coincides with the feast of St Edward which creates an excellent opportunity for Old Edwardians to go back to college, re-kindle memories and integrate in college life today by meeting present pupils.

All Old Edwardians are invited to attend Mass at 9 a.m.

The festival starts at 10 a.m., mainly consisting of games between Old Edwardians and the current pupils in football, volleyball, basketball and rugby. Well-known personalities who are active in the sports scene will take part.

The final and most-awaited event of the day will be the football match in which the school and the Old Edwardians will field their best players vying for the honour of lifting the Laferla Shield. Refreshments will be served bringing the festivities to a close.
