Evidence in defilement case

A magistrate yesterday heard evidence in the case of a man charged with defiling a minor on and before February this year.

The man, whose identity cannot be revealed by court order, is pleading not guilty to his involvement in defiling the minor.

His case was heard behind closed doors before Magistrate Jacqueline Padovani Grima.

Lawyer Chris Cardona appeared for the man.

Police Inspector Sharon Tanti prosecuted.
