Recently, my wife had to be admitted to St Luke's Hospital because of chest pains. From the moment she was admitted to casualty, and later on the M6 ward, she was given great attention. All tests were done in no time at all. Obviously some time had to pass due to the ECG test, blood test, blood pressure, X-Ray, urine, etc..
But the care and dedication shown by one and all never ceased, even though you could see that the nurses were understaffed. The consultant and his team were doing their utter best all of the time.
Afterwards my wife was transferred to the CCU ward, where the care is nothing but the best. Later on, she was placed in the CTS ward, where she didn't want for anything. Here the care she was given and the dedication shown by all the nursing stuff was nothing short of exceptional. Every one of the staff goes out of his way to make the patient as comfortable as can be. A big thank you goes also to the surgeon.
Which goes to show that even though St Luke's is forever overcrowded with patients, the care and dedication shown by all nursing stuff is something to be proud of. My family and I would like to say a big thank you to all. Keep up the good work.
