Ambulance drivers at the Gozo General Hospital have been directed by Union Haddiema Maghqudin not to carry out non-urgent work, including the transfer of patients from Gozo to Malta, as from Monday. UHM health services section secretary Joe Bonello said the issue has arisen because drivers have not been paid overtime due since last March.
